It will be exactly one year (Sept. 21) since we moved to the area. We tried a few churches until we found the one we are at now. It just fit and we've been enjoying it ever since. The people there are wonderful and we've felt like "members" since day one. We officially became members yesterday and Madeline was baptized. It was a wonderful day. Jake's brother Jon was able to come....sadly everyone else was either sick, out of town or super-pregnant...we forgive you all and won't make you feel too bad about missing out :)
I forgot my camera so we didn't get any pictures during the baptism but we did get a few after we got home.

Madeline's smile still melts me, she is so cute! You all look very nice in your pictures. Sorry that we couldn't make it, but being the person who is "super pregnant", I know you understand. Maybe Jana will make up for it and be born on your birthday? Maybe. Only God knows, and I cannot wait to find out when she will finally come!
