Happy Anniversary Dad & Mom and Happy 3 Months Madeline!

Well the move is going well. We've had tons of help (THANK YOU) from our families. My mom came on Thursday (28th) and left today.....today is my parents 34th (i think) wedding anniversary. And I just wanted to wish them a Happy Anniversary. Thanks Mom for all your help this weekend...and thanks Dad for letting me steal her for a few days.

Moving....AGAIN!!

Did you know that...

~since Jake and I have been married (will be 5 years in Dec.) we have moved 7 different times.
~we have lived in 8 different houses and in two different states.
~of those 8 houses we've only lived in 2 for a year, 1 for 10 months and every other place was less than 6 months.
~Delia has (sadly) lived in 6 different houses and she's only 3.
~this will be Madeline's first move and her second house...and she isn't even 3 months old!
~all of these moves have been for a good reason and we really couldn't avoid them.
~you'd think we were expert movers by now but we haven't even done anything (except sell a bunch of stuff) to get ready for our next move...which is THIS weekend.
~we are really excited about this move...(I know we're weird).
~we are purging everything we don't need...even getting rid of our television...
~we're doing all of this to save money.
~the new place is smaller but nicer.
~it is on a quiet street and the neighbors across the street have goats!
~the owners have updated almost everything.
~it is $250 cheaper and just as close to Jake's work.
~we are doing this because of this book written by this guy...seriously if you have debt you should read this book.

In other "news" both girls had check-ups last week; Delia's 3 year and Madeline's 2 month. Delia did really well except she acted like a baby. It was a little amusing since the doctor was trying to see that she was a normal three year old. When Delia acts like a baby it is mostly because she is shy and yet she really likes the attention. And since she gets the attention from people she doesn't know very well she has continued to act like a baby. The doctor even asked us if she talks well and if we can understand her! HA!! The better question would be, When does she not talk? And to that my answer would be NEVER....she evens talks in her sleep.

Delia weighs 28lbs and is 36in. tall. (about 10th percentile for both)
Madeline weighs 13.5lbs and is 24in. tall. (about 90th percentile for both)

They wanted to start Madeline's vaccinations......but we politely declined. We told them we were still researching them...which is true. However, I'm pretty sure we won't be doing any...ever.

We have until the end of this month which is mainly why we haven't started packing...but we are moving everything we need and aren't getting rid of to the new place this weekend. Then for the next few weekend we will be having yard sales to get rid of the "junk" we don't want anymore. I'll post pictures of the new place as soon as we are settled........probably in about a year or so...when we'll be moving again :)

It's been awhile...I know!
